Best Exercises after prostate surgery.
Pelvic strength, breathing exercises and core training and how these promote urinary incontinence.
It is common for men to experience urinary leakage after prostate surgery (Prostate Cancer UK, 2022). This is a common, frustrating side effect of the surgery men come to us for treatment.
I’ll often start men with some breathing exercises and pelvic floor strengthening.
Following this up with come core work ( I am giving you the tips of the trade here).

I 've been doing this for years now and it’s working out well for me.
Did you know that breathing exercises and core strengthening can have a huge impact on your pelvic floor. And combining pelvic floor exercise, breathing exercises and core exercises has been proven reduced urinary incontinence after prostate surgery (Zachovajeviene et al., 2019, #).
This Lithuanian study followed up to 40 men following prostate surgery for 2 years. These men were divided into 3 groups.
Pelvic floor work only
Breathing work only
Abdominal work only
And monitored their progress throughout.
The results found that each group experienced a dramatic reduction in Urinary leakage.
And suggested that all three methods could be included in the rehabilitation program following radical prostatectomy.
